I just found an exciting tool for my weight loss journey and can not help but share it all with you! Many of you may know how much I love Cooking Light recipes, cookbooks and websites; today I hopped on the web to find a new recipe for dinner and found this teeny link to “Take the Healthy Habits Challenge.”
After clicking this link, I found that Cooking Light is doing 12 months of 12 healthy habits! I am bummed that I missed the first 5 months but no better time to start than now! This month it is all about Strength Training! They give tips on how to begin a strength training routine, safety tips and also nutrition for strength training. I can not wait to learn the best foods that will feed my strength training to be the best it can be, as well as snacks and also post workout meals!
This is a great resource and I hope you all will find it helpful as well!
Now on to the UNhealthy side of things! Cupcakes!
This handsome cupcake was simply a chocolate cake mix with a ball of cookie dough stuffed inside and baked for 18 minutes… absolutely delicious! I stopped it with dark chocolate frosting and a mini chocolate chip cookie to top it all off. Mmm Mmm Good! This was for my two nephew’s birthday party on Friday and the kiddos (and adults alike) loved them! yay me!
