I am happily married to a loving and creative man who encourages me every day to be creative and enjoy life. We have been married for almost 5 years (in August!) and reside joyfully in sunny Southern California.
First and foremost, I am a child of God and strive to live for Him in the best way that I know how. I am so thankful for all of His blessings and gifts in my life. Life is not always easy or perfect, but I am grateful to have God as my protector, provider and my redeemer!
I was very blessed to have grown up with a mom who encouraged creativity and pure fun; this cultivated a passion for art, color, creating, as well as, gift-giving. Many of my favorite childhood memories involve craft and art projects with my mom or both of my grandmas and also creative projects with friends at my birthday parties! Creativity is a huge part of my life and I love finding fun and easy ways to implement that into my life, cooking, gift-giving, relationships and paper-crafting.
Another huge part of my life is baking; I love to bake and try out new recipes! As I have grown older (a full 26 years!) I have found a passion for cooking healthy and simple meals for my family. This is the reason for me sharing these recipes on my blog; it is so important for families to be eating healthy because there is such a huge epidemic in obesity and processed foods surrounding us – I promote health awareness for our children and our future.
Lastly, I have recently decided that my husband and I need to live in frugality. First, because we have not been spending the money that God has provided to us in a wise way; lastly, because there are so many needs in the world that our money could be used to help out with. My hope is that my blog would promote frugality and giving, as well as, offer new ways to do so (like the coupon printer!).
It is nice to meet you and I hope that you will find my site to be inspirational, encouraging and helpful to your life and your families.
Blessings,
Amy
