I am in love with the white on white concept!

Today, I bring to you a set of 6 cards that I call “White Beauty.”  They feature a new stamp set from Papertrey Ink, Year of Flowers Collection. This lovely set allows me to add a pop of color to the white on white; the perfect amount of color, if you ask me!

Don’t you just love the woodgrain texture just popping out at you. Maybe my theme should be “popping” since I love things to pop out! I love the simplicity that still grabs attention! I played along with some challenges this week while creating these beauties, please see the list below.

A little bit of twine and pop dots… now we’ve got a white beauty! I hope to spend some more time making a few different sets of these cards in other color combos for my Etsy shop! These sweethearts are great for any occasion.

I finally did it! I finally found time to sit down and created!

Today, my beautiful cousin graduated with her Bachelors Degree in Nursing! She has worked so hard and sacrificed a lot to get where she has and to reach this goal. Our family is very proud of her and I knew that I had to take the time to create something beautiful in her honor.

I used the colors from this week’s Embellish magazine challenge! My fave thing about Embellish magazine is their unique color inspiration and combos… always something fresh and new! My other inspiration was from one of my favorite cards from Sarah Martina. She always has the most beautiful work!

… and I am back with card # 2 which features Nichole’s favorite color combo. I just LOVE this combo and we all know that I can not resist a combo using Kraft!  I created this card using the Card Pattern sketch 101 which went perfectly with the cute Papertrey diecuts that I wanted to use! This is my first card using Love Lives Here and I adore it! Many more adorable projects to come, using that stamp set and the coordinating dies!

Have you been following Papertrey Ink’s Anniversary celebrations this month?! As usual, Nichole is leaving everyone in awe of the new creations and products and also showering us with plenty of challenges and prizes! Today’s challenge was to use one (or all) of the Design Team member’s favorite color combos on a project. Just couldn’t pass this up!

I hope you all had very blessed time with your families and loved ones this Christmas!

Today, we are just relaxing and getting some cleaning done. I decided to join in on Papertrey Ink’s challenge to use some Christmas scraps/leftovers on a project! Here is my simple card, made with someone special in mind! Her birthday is in January! The leftovers that I used were some strands of green ribbon that my husband used on one of my gift boxes. Unlike most people who try to save every piece of tissue paper, I grab up everyone’s ribbons!

And just for fun (and the fact that I love my husband and want to show off this special gift!), here is a shot of my extra special, lovely gift from my man. It is so beautiful and I was completely surprised by it! I am going to miss Christmas time — it is my favorite time of year — so in honor of the end of Christmas, I also have included a pretty little photo of our Christmas tree! Just one more short week with this beauty in my home…
